My artwork depicts mostly women and children busy in their humble daily lives. None of my figures have faces, thus leaving the imagination up to the viewer. The women often have a thin flowing white fabric draped over their clothing, my symbol of their emotional and spiritual strength often in the face of extreme poverty and adversity.

In many circumstances, these amazing women raise children on their own and albeit dealing with many hardships, they continue on in life with a smile and gracious acceptance.
